Hyderabad-based Premier Energies Limited has secured orders worth Rs 2,577 crore for the supply of 1,600 MW of solar cells and modules in the fourth quarter of FY2026. Execution is scheduled across FY2027 and FY2028.
The orders have been placed by a mix of domestic independent power producers (IPPs), module manufacturers, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors in India. The company has not disclosed the names of the customers.
Premier Energies stated that its solar cell manufacturing capacity is expected to reach 10.6 GW by September 2026. Its module manufacturing capacity has already been expanded to 11.1 GW, placing it among the larger integrated solar manufacturers in the country.
Managing Director Chiranjeev Saluja said the order inflow indicates customer confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities and technology roadmap. He added that the company remains focused on scaling up solar deployment in line with India’s renewable energy growth.
Premier Energies was listed on Indian stock exchanges in 2024 and has been actively expanding capacity among domestic solar manufacturers over the past two years.
