Powertrac secures 50 MW Gujarat DREBP renewable energy project

Powertrac Group has secured a 50 MW Distributed Renewable Energy Project from Purshotam Profiles Pvt. Ltd. as an independent power producer (IPP) developer under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Scheme with Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), Gujarat.

The project will be executed on a project development basis and covers the complete development and execution of the renewable energy project.

The scope of work includes grid connectivity application, approvals and capacity reservation; power purchase agreement (PPA) documentation and execution; land identification, procurement, due diligence and project development; survey, design, right of way (RoW), and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the transmission line.

The contract also includes obtaining statutory approvals and liaisoning with the Chief Electrical Inspector to Government (CEIG), Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO), State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC), PGVCL, the Public Works Department (PWD), the Forest Department and other government authorities.

In addition, Powertrac Group will undertake testing and commissioning of the solar power plant, along with complete project management, regulatory compliance and commercial operation.
