Adani Green signs power supply and investment deals with Asahi India Glass
Adani Green Energy Limited said on 7 January 2026 that its step-down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B Limited, has executed two agreements with Asahi India Glass Limited. The subsidiary has signed a Power Consumption Agreement to supply 20.8 MW of solar wind hybrid power from a 25 MW solar unit and a 20.8 MW wind unit at Khavda, Gujarat. On the same date, it also entered into an Investment Agreement with Asahi India Glass, along with Adani Renewable Energy Holding Four Limited, to meet captive power requirements. Under the arrangement, Asahi India Glass will subscribe to at least 26% of the proportionate equity of the specific project, with the investment to be made in one or more tranches. The disclosures were made to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
ACME subsidiary commissions 12 MW wind project segment in Gujarat
ACME Solar Holdings Limited announced that its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, has received a Certificate of Commissioning from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency. The certificate, dated 06 January 2026, confirms the commissioning of 12 MW of a planned 100 MW wind power project. The project is located across Sokhda, Garambhadi and Piparali in Surendranagar district, Gujarat. The company said the development follows earlier disclosures made on 16 December 2025 and 24 December 2025. The update was filed with BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited under Regulation 30.
REC incorporates subsidiary to develop Munak transmission project in Haryana
REC Limited has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, Munak Power Transmission Limited, to support a transmission project in Haryana. The entity was incorporated on 05 January 2026, with the certificate received on 07 January 2026, and is a subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited. Munak Power Transmission Limited has an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs 5,00,000 and will facilitate the development of a 400 kV substation at Munak with associated transmission lines. The infrastructure will enable evacuation of 800 MW from the DCRTPP in Yamunanagar, Haryana. The company stated that the subsidiary will be transferred to the selected bidder after completion of the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding process.
Texmaco completes HM systems for 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower project
Texmaco Rail and Engineering Limited has completed the erection and commissioning of Hydro Mechanical systems for the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project. The project, developed by NHPC Limited, is configured as eight units of 250 MW each at the Arunachal Pradesh Assam border. NHPC has declared the Commercial Operation Date of Unit 2 as 23 December 2025, following the commissioning of the first unit and three additional units. Texmaco acted as the sole Hydro Mechanical contractor, covering design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning. The remaining four generating units are scheduled for phased commissioning through FY 2026–27.
TARIL appoints Satyen J. Mamtora as MD and CEO; Q3 FY26 results reported
Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has appointed Mr Satyen J. Mamtora as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from 08 January 2026. The appointment follows the resignation of Mr Mukul Srivastava as Chief Executive Officer, effective 07 January 2026, due to personal reasons. For the quarter ended 31 December 2025, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 736.76 crores, EBITDA of Rs 129.24 crores, and PAT of Rs 76.00 crores. On a standalone basis, revenue stood at Rs 704.21 crores, with PAT of Rs 71.08 crores. As of 31 December 2025, the unexecuted order book was Rs 5,450 crores, with new Q3 order inflows of Rs 665 crores.
