Patel Engineering Q1 profit rises 24% as order book reaches Rs 14,636 crore
Patel Engineering Limited reported a 24.49% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit attributable to owners of the parent to Rs 93.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company also maintained growth in revenue and operating earnings, while its order book stood at Rs 14,636 crore at the end of the quarter.
Consolidated revenue from operations increased 3.83% year-on-year to Rs 1,280.74 crore from Rs 1,233.45 crore in Q1 FY26. Operating EBITDA rose to Rs 179.60 crore from Rs 165.33 crore, with the EBITDA margin at 14.02%.
Project execution
Patel Engineering continued to make progress across its hydropower and infrastructure portfolio during the quarter.
At the Subansiri Lower Hydropower Project, operational capacity reached 1,000 MW following the commissioning of Unit 4. Concreting work for Unit 7 also commenced.
Dam concrete works at the Kwar Hydropower Project crossed 50% completion during the quarter.
In Bhutan, construction commenced on the 1,125 MW Dorjilung Hydropower Project.
The company received recognition at the EPC World Awards for the Sela Tunnel Project and at the Assocham Achievers Awards for the Tunnel T 15 Project.
