HG Infra declared qualified bidder by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar

HG Infra Engineering has been declared the qualified bidder by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam for 185 MW/370 MWh as part of a 500 MW/1000 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project.  The project is supported by viability gap funding, and the tariff rate is set at Rs 2.38 million per MW per month. The contract is scheduled for completion in 1.5 years.

NTPC announces winners of 1.2 GW ISTS-connected solar auction; allocates 976 MW

NTPC has released the results of its 1.2 GW ISTS-connected solar projects auction. The winning companies include SAEL Industries, Rays Power Infra, Refex Green, ReNew Solar, and Illuminate Hybren (Mahindra Susten).  SAEL secured 300 MW, Rays Power 100 MW, and Refex Green 100 MW, all at a tariff of Rs 2.50 per kWh. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has been declared the lowest bidder by NTPC for the main plant package of super thermal power plants (STPPs) at Gadarwara in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Nabinagar in Bihar.  L&T will undertake work for Gadarwara STPP Stage-II (2×800 MW), Telangana STPP Stage-II (3×800 MW), and Nabinagar STPP Stage-II (3×800 MW). JSW Renew Energy Thirteen Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited for a 700 MW solar project. The 25-year agreement sets a tariff of Rs 2.59 per kilowatt-hour (KWh) and connects the project to both the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) and State Transmission Utility (STU). MUNPL pays first dividend of Rs 510 million each to NTPC and UPRVUNL

Meja Urja Nigam Pvt Ltd (MUNPL), a 50:50 joint venture between NTPC Ltd and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (UPRVUNL), has paid its first-ever dividend of Rs 510 million each to its parent companies. NTPC Green signs MoU with Rajasthan for 25 GW RE project

NTPC Green Energy (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government for a 25 GW renewable energy project.  The MoU was signed on 30 September 2024 during the Rising Rajasthan Investor Meet in Delhi, in the presence of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
