Orient Green commissions 6.6 MW wind capacity in Tamil Nadu

Orient Green Power Company Limited said its subsidiary, Gamma Green Power Private Limited, has completed the erection of two 3.3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu, and received service connection on March 20, 2026. The two units together account for 6.6 MW of the site’s planned 9.9 MW.
The WTGs are of Envision make and are being installed under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract awarded to Renfra Energy India Limited, formerly known as Renfra Energy India Private Limited, on a turnkey basis. Work on the remaining 3.3 MW unit is in progress, with commissioning expected after completion of procedural formalities.
The original contract was first disclosed to stock exchanges on February 2, 2026.
