NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL), a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has commenced commercial operations of 37.5 MW capacity, the first part of its 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project in Sadla, Gujarat, effective December 21, 2024.
This addition increases NTPC Group’s total installed and commercial capacity to 76,598.18 MW. NTPC aims to achieve 50% non-fossil fuel-based generation capacity in its portfolio by 2032.
