NLC India reports 15% growth in Q1 FY27 standalone revenue

NLC India Limited reported a 15.07% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue from operations to Rs 2,871.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by higher coal production and power generation. On a consolidated basis, group revenue rose 23.29% to Rs 4,716.75 crore.

Standalone performance

Standalone EBITDA increased 1.13% year-on-year to Rs 1,013.13 crore, while Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose 3.76% to Rs 548.67 crore from Rs 528.78 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Coal production grew 7.84% to 40.85 lakh tonnes, and thermal power gross generation increased 8.27% to 4,318.85 million units.

The company’s net worth stood at Rs 19,701.70 crore as of June 30, 2026, up 10.53% year-on-year. NLC India also maintained 100% collection efficiency from power debtors during the quarter.

Group performance

At the group level, gross power generation increased 25% year-on-year to 8,262.06 million units from 6,609.40 million units.

Group EBITDA rose 18.71% to Rs 1,699.59 crore, while Group PBT increased 9.76% to Rs 651.55 crore.

Group net worth stood at Rs 22,069.07 crore as of June 30, 2026, registering a 13.11% year-on-year increase.
