MEIL to invest Rs 103 billion in pumped storage project in AP

Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) is set to invest Rs 103 billion in developing a pumped storage project (PSP) at Kommuru in Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh.
The project has received approval from the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
This project is among 15 PSPs approved by SIPB and aims to enhance the region’s energy infrastructure.
Along with generating clean electricity, the initiative is expected to create over 3,000 job opportunities, contributing to local economic growth.
