Madhya Pradesh has secured further investments in renewable energy (RE) through new Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed at the Global Investors Summit 2025. At the summit, five companies formalized their investment plans:

  • KP Group committed to a 1,800 MW RE project, including solar, wind, wind-solar hybrid, biomass, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
  • Four Square Green Energy Private Limited signed an MoU worth Rs 50.05 billion for solar, wind, and BESS projects.
  • OPG Power Generation Private Limited agreed to invest Rs 13.4 billion in wind-solar hybrid, green hydrogen, small modular reactors, and BESS projects.
  • Torrent Power Limited (TPL) plans to develop around 2,000 MW of wind and solar power projects in the state.
  • Essar Power Limited (EPL) signed an MoU worth Rs 21 billion for RE projects, including BESS, solar, and coal bed methane projects.

Additionally, Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) and Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) signed financing agreements for power projects worth Rs 268 billion and Rs 210 billion, respectively.
