Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,617 crore for the quarter ended June 2025, marking a 29.9 per cent increase from Rs 2,786 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 15.5 per cent year-on-year to Rs 63,678 crore.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 6,316 crore, up 12.5 per cent from Rs 5,615 crore. However, operating margin declined slightly to 9.9 per cent from 10.2 per cent in the same quarter last year.
Meanwhile, NTPC posted a net profit of Rs 4,774 crore, up 5.85 per cent from Rs 4,511 crore a year ago. Revenue dropped 4.2 per cent to Rs 42,572 crore from Rs 44,427 crore.
The company’s EBITDA fell 17.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 10,283 crore. Operating margin also narrowed to 24.1 per cent from 28 per cent in the year-ago quarter.
