KPI Green wins 36.87 MW captive solar projects

Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy Limited, has secured Letters of Award (LoAs) for developing 36.87 MW of solar power projects under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment. The awards were received on June 19, 2025.
The projects have been allotted by multiple firms. Some of them will be implemented under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Policy, as outlined in the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy-2023 and the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) tariff orders No. 5 and 6 of 2024.
Project execution will take place in multiple tranches, with completion expected in FY 2026.
