KPI Green Energy has signed contract agreements with SJVN for a 200 MW AC solar project at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The deal is valued at Rs 696.50 crore excluding GST and marks a significant addition to the company’s utility-scale solar portfolio.
The agreements position KPI Green as the EPC partner responsible for the full build-out of the project. The scope includes supply of plant and equipment as per approved specifications, along with all civil, architectural and structural works. KPI Green will manage unloading, handling, storage and insurance of equipment supplied under the contracts.
The company will also oversee testing, commissioning and performance demonstration required for operational acceptance. The work package includes a three year O&M period after COD that covers spares and consumables. The project structure is divided into a Supply Contract, an EPC Contract and an O&M Contract, which together create a turnkey framework for construction and early operations.
KPI Green’s Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Faruk G Patel said the agreement with SJVN reinforces the company’s ability to deliver large projects and reflects the confidence of major government sector clients.
