KP Group has entered a framework agreement with Senvion India to jointly develop up to 2 GW of wind and wind–solar hybrid capacity across India over the next three years. The arrangement brings together KP Group’s project development role and Senvion India’s turbine supply for a multi-state pipeline.
KP Group will handle land acquisition, permits, and all balance of plant work. This includes civil construction, internal roads, foundations, electrical systems, and grid evacuation up to the interconnection points. Senvion India will supply the wind turbine generators required for the planned sites.
Earlier this month, Senvion signed an MoU with Integrum Energy to supply and commission up to 50 units of its 4.2M160 turbine model. The agreement covers a potential capacity of 210 MW across Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka.
KPI Green Energy has also signed contracts with SJVN for a 200 MW AC solar project at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The project is valued at Rs 696.50 crore excluding GST and expands the company’s utility-scale solar portfolio.
