IGL forms JV with RVUNL to set up solar project in Rajasthan

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has entered into a joint venture agreement with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) to establish a solar power project in Rajasthan. The agreement was signed on September 1, 2025.
Under the terms of the joint venture, IGL will hold a 74 percent equity stake, while RVUNL will hold 26 percent. The board of the joint venture company will consist of six directors, with four nominated by IGL and two by RVUNL.Â
This follows the approval granted by IGL’s Board on March 29, 2025, to form a joint venture with Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL) for developing a solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
