Greg Skinner acquires 50% stake in Ethical Power Group

Greg Skinner, a private investor, has acquired a 50% share of Ethical Power Group from Hive Energy.
As part of the deal, Skinner will provide an additional £15 million working capital loan to support the company’s continued growth.
Skinner will also join the Ethical Power Group board. Ethical Power, founded in 2010, is a global renewable energy company that operates across Europe and New Zealand.
The company employs over 300 people across five countries.
Ethical Power’s founder and CEO, Thomas Kneen, will continue to maintain a 50% stake. The partnership with Hive Energy will remain intact through joint venture development projects in the UK.
