G R Infraprojects Limited has been awarded a transmission project by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited for evacuating power from renewable energy projects in Madhya Pradesh. The project is titled “Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Rajgarh (1500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase III and Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Neemuch (1000 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase II.”

The scope of work includes the establishment of a 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation at Handiya, along with two 125 MVAr, 420 kV bus reactors.
