GIPCL commissions 105 MW under Khavda Solar Phase XVII

Gujarat Industries Power Corporation Limited (GIPCL) has commissioned 105 MW solar capacity under the 600 MW Khavda Solar PV Project – Phase XVII in Gujarat. The milestone was achieved on June 28, 2025.
The project is part of the larger 600 MW solar power development awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). GIPCL had received the Letter of Intent (LoI) on May 16, 2023, after winning the bid with a tariff of Rs 2.73 per kWh under Phase XVII.
The entire 600 MW project is being implemented in two blocks of 300 MW each, with GIPCL serving as the Solar Power Park Developer (SPPD). This marks the first stage of GIPCL’s planned capacity under the Phase XVII program.
