Enviro Infra’s order book jumps 242% in FY26 as it expands into solar, wind and BESS
Enviro Infra Engineers Limited reported steady revenue growth for FY26, supported by a sharp rise in its order book and expansion into renewable energy businesses, including solar, wind and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The company’s revenue from operations for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 stood at Rs 11,456 million, up 7.5% year-on-year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 3.4% to Rs 2,768 million, with EBITDA margin at 24.2%.
Profit after tax (PAT) rose 6.3% to Rs 1,884 million, translating into a margin of 15.86%.
Quarterly performance
For the January–March 2026 quarter, revenue from operations increased 8.8% year-on-year to Rs 4,273 million.
However, quarterly EBITDA declined 19.3% to Rs 799 million, while EBITDA margin contracted by 800 basis points to 18.7%. PAT for the quarter fell 26.7% to Rs 543 million.
The company attributed the decline in quarterly margins to the project execution mix and a global crisis in March, which delayed expected topline realization.
Order book growth
As of March 31, 2026, the company’s consolidated order book stood at around Rs 68,136 million, marking a 242% increase compared to the previous year.
The company said the average project size has increased from around Rs 2,000 million, indicating a shift toward larger and more complex projects.
Renewable energy expansion
During FY26, Enviro Infra Engineers established a wholly owned subsidiary to enter the renewable energy sector and expanded into solar, wind and BESS businesses.
The company acquired wind engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm Suyog Urja Limited at a valuation of Rs 3,110 million.
It also secured 930 MWh of BESS projects from NTPC under the EPC model and acquired solar independent power producer (IPP) and BESS IPP projects.
According to the company, its active wind execution pipeline stands at around 1,702 MW. Suyog Urja has previously executed around 1,200 MW of wind projects.
Management view
Sanjay Jain, Chairman of Enviro Infra Engineers, said the company has reduced business risk through diversification into business-to-business (B2B) renewable energy segments while continuing to expand its water infrastructure operations.
He added that delays in bid evaluations and design approvals impacted execution timelines for certain projects, but expressed confidence in long-term opportunities supported by government investment in water, sanitation and clean energy infrastructure.
