EliTe Solar has officially opened a new solar cell production facility in Indonesia, aimed at driving clean energy adoption and fostering sustainable economic growth in the region.

The facility, developed in collaboration with local authorities and partners, is set to generate employment, boost local incomes, and create an industrial cluster in the area.

With Indonesia’s vast solar potential of 3,294 GW, the new facility is strategically positioned to meet rising demand while contributing to the global effort to reduce carbon emissions.

EliTe Solar aims to strengthen its presence in the growing photovoltaic market and build a robust supply chain across multiple countries, including Indonesia and Egypt.

This development follows the company’s plans to establish an 8 GW solar manufacturing hub in Egypt’s Suez Special Economic Zone, underlining its commitment to expanding its global renewable energy footprint.

The facility, supported by a $150 million investment, focuses on high-efficiency solar cell production and module assembly, with a large portion of the output designated for export.
