Sumitomo to invest £7.5bn in UK clean energy and infrastructure by 2035
Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation has committed to investing £7.5 billion ($10 billion) in the United Kingdom by 2035. The investment will focus on infrastructure, offshore wind, and hydrogen projects. The agreement was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the UK Department for Business and Trade.
