NTPC announces auction results for 1,200 MW hybrid projects

NTPC Limited has declared the results for its 1,200 MW wind-solar hybrid (Hybrid 02) ISTS-connected projects, with an additional greenshoe option of up to 600 MW.

• JSP Green (Jindal Renewables): 350 MW at Rs 3.38 per kWh.
• Adyant Enersol (Datta Infra): 150 MW at Rs 3.44 per kWh.
• Green Prairie Energy IV (EverGreen Power): 200 MW at Rs 3.44 per kWh.
• AMPIN Energy Utility: 150 MW at Rs 3.44 per kWh.
• Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve (Adani Green): 350 MW at Rs 3.44 per kWh under the bucket-filling method.

The tender, floated in August 2024, required a minimum project size of 50 MW, with maximum allotments capped at 600 MW per bidder (excluding the greenshoe option). Projects must maintain a 30 per cent capacity utilisation factor and use MNRE-certified wind turbines and solar modules.
