Diamond Power wins cable supply order under DGVCL scheme

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth Rs 1,509.86 million from Rajesh Power Services Limited.
The order is for supplying cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) aluminium armored high tension (HT) cables under the Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) System Improvement (SI) scheme.
The LoI was issued on April 28, 2025, as part of Gujarat’s broader SI initiatives aimed at strengthening power infrastructure and improving service reliability.
The SI schemes are being implemented across three state utilities with an estimated outlay of Rs 1.09 billion for Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL), Rs 2.61 billion for Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), and Rs 1.18 billion for DGVCL.
The scope of these schemes includes feeder bifurcation, conversion of overhead lines to underground cables, establishment of substation link lines, HT and LT aerial bunch conductor installations, conductor replacement, and distribution transformer reviews. The projects are aimed at ensuring consistent and quality power supply across Gujarat.
