Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has received multiple Letters of Intent (LoIs) for transmission and cable supply projects in Gujarat.

The company secured an LoI worth Rs 231.68 million for the 220 kV D/C Maglana – Pachham line (80.01 km) under the Gujarat Green Energy Corridor-II. The project, awarded by Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO), is expected to be completed by August 2025. GETCO is implementing the Rs 36.67 billion Green Energy Corridor-II scheme to strengthen intra-state and inter-state renewable energy transmission.

Additionally, Diamond Power received LoIs for other GETCO transmission lines, including:

  • Rs 422.23 million for the 400 kV D/C Sanand (Chharodi) – Soja line (73.06 km), to be completed by July 2025.

  • Rs 236.35 million for the 400 kV D/C Veloda – Prantij line (39.52 km), to be completed by July 2025.

  • Rs 487.4 million for the 400 kV D/C Kalawad – Saurashtra (765 kV) line (74.7 km), to be completed by August 2025.

The company also secured a Rs 2.17 billion contract from Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) to supply low-tension (LT) and high-tension (HT) cables for pooling substations (PSS) and renewable energy projects under the 30,000 MW Khavda Wind-Solar Hybrid Renewable Energy Power Park in Kutch. The supply includes 33 kV HT cables and 3.3 kV LT cables for multiple solar and wind power projects, with individual contracts ranging from Rs 23.96 million to Rs 411.28 million.

The Khavda project, developed by AGEL, comprises 26,000 MW of solar and 4,000 MW of wind capacity. Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) is the nodal agency, while Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) are involved in transmission development.
