BAJEL Projects Limited (formerly Bajaj Electricals Limited) has received a Notification of Award (NoA) from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL) for the construction of overhead and underground transmission lines in Bhopal.Â
The project, awarded on March 25, 2025, involves power supply infrastructure for the Bhopal Metro Rail Project.
The scope includes the supply and construction of 132 kV double-circuit double-string (DCDS) transmission lines from 220 kV S/s Bairagarh to RSS Karond and 220 kV Adampur to RSS Ratnagiri Tiraha, along with the installation of 220 kV, 160 MVA power transformers and associated feeder bays.
The project is expected to be completed within 24 months.
