Datta Power Infra Private Limited has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 50 MW Inter State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power project under SECI’s Tranche-XVII.
The agreement was finalized on February 28, 2025.
In November 2024, Adyant Enersol Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Datta Power Infra, secured the project with a Letter of Award (LoA) from SECI by quoting a tariff of Rs 3.82 per kWh.
SECI had invited bids in May 2024 for developing 500 MW ISTS-connected wind projects across India under this tranche.
The project, to be implemented on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis, includes land identification, installation, connectivity, and necessary approvals, including a dedicated transmission network up to the interconnection point for power supply to SECI.
The project is expected to be completed within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA.
