CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited has secured its largest-ever single order, valued at approximately Rs 900 crore ($99.2 million), from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions LLC, USA. The export contract covers the supply of power transformers for a large-scale data centre project in the United States, marking CG Power’s entry into the global data centre segment.

In a press release dated 17 January 2026, the Mumbai-based engineering company said the order involves the supply of specially engineered power transformers designed to meet the high reliability, efficiency, and uptime requirements of hyperscale data centres. Deliveries are scheduled over a period of 12 to 20 months under Free Alongside Ship (FAS) Mumbai Port terms as per Incoterms® 2020.

Amar Kaul, Global Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of CG Power, said the order demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver globally benchmarked, mission-critical technology from India. He added that the contract creates long-term opportunities in the global data centre market and aligns with the company’s growth strategy linked to the expansion of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure.

The transformers will be designed, manufactured, and tested at CG Power’s facilities in India. The company said its selection was based on its engineering capabilities, advanced manufacturing infrastructure, and its execution framework, referred to as CG EDGE.
