Adyant Enersol Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Datta Power Infra Private Limited, and UPC Renewables have won bids for a cumulative 170 MW of Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power projects anywhere in India.
Adyant Enersol won 70 MW by quoting a tariff of Rs 3.98 per kWh, while UPC Renewables won 100 MW with a tariff of Rs 3.99 per kWh.
The scope of work includes setting up 170 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects, including a dedicated transmission network up to the interconnection/delivery point, on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis.
These projects will supply power to SJVN Limited, which will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Datta Power and UPC Renewables.
The projects are expected to be completed within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA.
In March 2024, SJVN invited Request for Selection (RfS) bids for the selection of wind power developers to set up 600 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects across India.
