Bondada Engineering wins Rs 816 crore NTPC Green solar EPC order

Bondada Engineering Limited has received a Notification of Award from NTPC Green Energy Limited for Balance of System works for a 600 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Fatehgarh, Rajasthan.

The contract, valued at around Rs 816.01 crore, will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model and includes operations and maintenance (O&M) services for three years.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, site development, manufacturing, supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of 300 MW each for Block-1 and Block-3 of the solar park. The project is scheduled to be completed within 16 months from the receipt of the award.

According to the company, this is the second order secured from the NTPC Group, taking Bondada Engineering’s cumulative order inflow from the group to nearly Rs 1,207 crore with a combined capacity approaching 1 GW.

Following the latest award, the company’s total solar EPC order book has increased to around 5.3 GWp. Bondada Engineering stated that the project is expected to support execution visibility and contribute to revenue and profitability during the implementation period.
