BNC Power wins Rs 4.29 billion EPC contract for solar park in Rajasthan

BNC Power Projects Limited has secured a Rs 4.29 billion engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Rajasthan Solarpark Development Company Limited. The contract is for infrastructure development at the upcoming 2,450 MW solar park in Pugal, Bikaner.

The scope of work includes setting up a 400/132 kV air-insulated substation (AIS) with four 315 MVA transformers. BNC will also construct two 132/33 kV AIS substations with twelve 100 MVA transformers. The project includes associated transmission lines at 400 kV and 132 kV.

BNC Power Projects Limited is based in Pune and focuses on EPC projects across the power sector. Its services include erection and maintenance of transmission lines and substations, live line maintenance, road construction under EPC, HAM and BOT models, and project consultancy.

The company was founded in 1967 as B.N. Chaudhari Engineers & Contractors. It became BNC Power Projects Limited in 2007 when it transitioned into a public limited company.
