Inox Wind secures 51 MW turbine order from First Energy for Tamil Nadu project

Inox Wind Limited has received a 51 MW wind turbine order from First Energy Private Limited (FEPL) for a wind power project in Tamil Nadu. This is FEPL’s first order with Inox Wind.
The order includes the supply of Inox Wind’s 3 MW class wind turbine generators. These turbines feature a 140-metre hub height and a 145-metre rotor diameter. The contract also covers limited-scope engineering procurement services, including supervision, and multi-year operations and maintenance.
First Energy, part of the Thermax Group, focuses on renewable energy for commercial and industrial (C&I) users. The company offers wind, solar, hybrid and battery storage systems.
This order reinforces Inox Wind’s presence in the C&I segment. The company is a fully integrated wind energy solutions provider with manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Its 3 MW series turbines and services are targeted at large developers and industrial users.
