Bajaj Electricals appoints Rahul Pundir as Chief Supply Chain Officer

Bajaj Electricals Limited has appointed Rahul Pundir as Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective March 2, 2026. After joining, he will be designated as Senior Management Personnel at the company’s next Board Meeting. The company disclosed the appointment to stock exchanges on February 24, 2026.
Rahul Pundir brings more than 24 years of global experience in supply chain leadership. In his new role, he will manage the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations. His work has focused on digital transformation initiatives covering manufacturing efficiency, demand forecasting, inventory management, and route-to-market optimisation. His experience includes building scalable, consumption-driven supply networks aimed at supporting shareholder value.
Pundir joins Bajaj Electricals from Procter & Gamble (P&G). His latest position there was Executive Officer, Product Supply & Sustainability Leader for the AMA region, based in Japan. During his tenure, he led supply chain transformation programmes that included network redesign, digital enablement, and expansion of manufacturing scale. Key outcomes included an estimated $250 million in cost-to-serve improvements, margin expansion, capital efficiency gains, and a fivefold increase in manufacturing capacity. He also oversaw modernisation initiatives involving large distribution centres and integrated customer planning systems across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and India.
Pundir holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IIM Mumbai (formerly National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE)) and a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has completed a Post Graduate Certification in Digital Manufacturing & Smart Factories from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and the Senior Executive Development Program at the University of Tennessee, USA.
