Eight firms have been shortlisted as technically qualified for the selection of transmission service provider (TSP) through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) for the ‘Transmission System for evacuation of RE power from Raghanesda area of Gujarat – 3GW under Phase-I’. The project will be developed on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.
The shortlisted bidders are Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL), Resonia Limited, Torrent Power Limited, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon Private Limited (DRAIPL), KCC Buildcon Private Limited, and Kalthia Engineering & Construction Limited (KECL).
PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL), acting as the bid process coordinator (BPC), had invited Request for Proposal (RFP) bids in September 2024.
Separately, three firms have been shortlisted as technically qualified for the ‘Eastern Region Generation Scheme-I (ERGS-I)’ transmission project, also under the TBCB route and BOOT basis. The shortlisted firms are PGCIL, Tata Power Company Limited (TPCL), and H.G. Infra Engineering Limited.
PFCCL invited RFP bids for ERGS-I in January 2025 and is also the BPC for this project.
