Alfa Transformers wins Rs 3.79 crore TPCODL contract
Alfa Transformers Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 3.79 crore from TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha. The order covers the supply of distribution transformers of various capacities.
The contract was awarded on April 28, 2026, and will be executed over two years, with completion scheduled by April 25, 2028. The scope includes transformers ranging from 63 KVA to 1 MVA, covering both 11/4 KV and 33/4 KV units. Pricing under the rate contract will remain variable and linked to IEEMA indices, with July 15, 2025, set as the base date for price variation.
The first lot is scheduled for delivery within 135 days from the issuance of a release order, including time required for drawing approvals.
In a separate update, Alfa Transformers received a Certificate of Appreciation from TPCODL for its contribution to material supply at the Business Associate Meet for FY 2025-26.
