Advait Energy Transitions Limited (AETL), previously known as Advait Infratech Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Haryana City Gas Distribution (Bhiwadi) Limited to establish a 2,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) green hydrogen plant.
As part of the agreement, AETL will provide 15 MW alkaline-based electrolysers and offer Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) solutions, including balance of plant systems.
AETL will also handle the operations and maintenance of the plant for one year after commissioning. The partnership includes consultancy and advisory services to explore green hydrogen applications for industrial and commercial use, focusing on developments in green ammonia production and carbon credits.
In July 2024, Advait Greenergy, a subsidiary of Advait Infratech Limited, received letters of intent for solar and green hydrogen projects valued at Rs 726.9 million. This includes a Rs 590 million EPC contract for a 30 MW ground-mounted solar project in Khavda, Gujarat, and a Rs 136.9 million EPC contract for a 1 MW green hydrogen plant in Matar, Gujarat.
