Adani Green commissions 50 MW solar project at Khavda
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalised a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, through its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited.
Following the commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 19,835.8 MW. The company’s operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity currently stands at 3,366 MWh.
In a filing to the stock exchanges, the company said the decision to operationalise the plant was taken at 11:50 a.m. on June 1, 2026, after receiving the required clearances. Power generation from the project also commenced on the same day.
The project forms part of AGEL’s continued capacity addition at the Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat, which is among the world’s largest renewable energy developments.
Last month, AGEL operationalised 150 MW solar power project at Khavda through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited.
