Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) has commissioned a 50 MW solar power project at its Khavda site in Gujarat, bringing its total operational renewable capacity to 16,729.80 MW. The project was approved for operation on October 15, 2025, and began commercial generation the following day.
In a separate filing, AGEL announced the incorporation of five new wholly owned step-down subsidiaries—Adani Hydro Energy Eleven, Twelve, Fourteen, Fifteen, and Seventeen Ltd.—between October 13 and 15, 2025. Â
The subsidiaries have been created to develop renewable energy projects, including wind and solar power. AGEL stated that the incorporations are not related party transactions and that the companies have not yet begun operations.
