Power Mech Projects Ltd. has secured an order worth over Rs 2,500 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) for balance of plant (BoP) work at the 1×800 MW Singareni Super Thermal Power Project (Stage-II) at Mancherial, Telangana, on an EPC basis.
Under the contract, Power Mech Projects will handle design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, civil and structural works, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, trial runs, PG tests, training, and maintenance until handover, including warranty and defect liability obligations.
The project is scheduled for completion in 38 months. The plant is owned by Singareni Coal Collieries Ltd (SCCL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Telangana government. SCCL had placed the EPC order for the plant with BHEL in February 2025.
