Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commenced commercial operations for two solar power projects under its 30,000 MW Khavda Wind-Solar Hybrid Renewable Energy Power Park in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch district.
Adani Green Energy Twenty Five A Limited began power generation for a 275 MW solar project on February 28, 2025, while Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B Limited started operations for an 83 MW solar project on March 1, 2025.
The Khavda park is a large-scale hybrid renewable energy project, comprising 26,000 MW of solar and 4,000 MW of wind capacity. Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) is the nodal agency overseeing the project, with AGEL handling its development.
Separately, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has completed the fourth and final phase of its 300 MW Shambu ki Burj-2 (Kolayat) solar photovoltaic project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The final 18.32 MW segment commenced operations on March 1, 2025. The project’s earlier phases—150 MW, 98.78 MW, and 32.90 MW—were commissioned on September 29, 2022, September 30, 2024, and October 31, 2024, respectively.
