ACME commissions 26.4 MW wind power under GUVNL Phase-III

ACME Pokhran Solar Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, commissioned 26.4 MW capacity under Phase-I of its 50 MW wind power project in Shapar, Gujarat. The commissioning took place on May 25, 2025.
The project is part of the Gujarat Grid-Connected Wind Power Project (Phase III) awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). ACME Solar secured the 50 MW capacity in July 2022 at a tariff of Rs 2.9 per kWh.
GUVNL had invited bids in May 2022 for procurement of power from 500 MW of grid-connected wind capacity under Phase III. The ACME project is being developed on a build, own, operate (BOO) basis.
The remaining capacity is expected to be commissioned in line with project timelines under the Phase-III scheme.
