ACME Pokhran Solar Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, commissioned 19.8 MW wind power capacity in Shapar, Gujarat, on June 13, 2025. This forms part of its 50 MW grid-connected wind power project under Phase II of the Gujarat Phase III tender.
With this, the total commissioned capacity under the project now stands at 46.2 MW. The remaining capacity is expected to be commissioned shortly.
ACME Solar had won the 50 MW capacity in July 2022 at a tariff of Rs 2.9 per kWh. The project was awarded under Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (GUVNL) Phase-III wind power auction.
GUVNL had invited bids in May 2022 to procure power from 500 MW of grid-connected wind power projects in Gujarat. ACME’s project is being developed on a build, own, operate (BOO) basis and is financed by Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC).
