Suzlon to supply wind turbine generators to Jindal Renewables

Suzlon Group has signed an agreement with Jindal Renewables, the renewable energy division of Jindal Group, to supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) totalling 400 MW. The order, placed by JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt Ltd, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of Jindal Renewables Power Pvt Ltd, raises Suzlon’s total order book to nearly 5.4 GW. Suzlon secures order of 1,166 MW from NTPC

Renewable energy provider Suzlon has won a 1,166 MW order from NTPC Green Energy to supply and install 370 wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Gujarat. This includes two NTPC Renewable Energy projects and one project by IndianOil NTPC Green Energy, equipped with S144 WTGs and a hybrid lattice tubular tower. Suzlon Energy Ltd board has approved the acquisition of 22,80,000 equity shares, representing 76% of Renom Energy Services Private Ltd’s equity share capital, in multiple tranches.
