IndiGrid, British International Investment (BII), and the Norwegian Climate Investment Fund managed by Norfund have established EnerGrid, a $300 million platform focused on greenfield transmission and standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in India.  Each partner will invest $100 million, with EnerGrid aiming to develop projects valued at approximately $1.2 billion over the next several years. CERC grants transmission licences to IndiGrid subsidiaries

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has granted a transmission licence to Dhule Power Transmission Ltd (DPTL), a subsidiary of India Grid Trust (IndiGrid). NVVN awards 66 MW solar projects to Kirloskar Solar and Oriana Power

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has awarded contracts totalling 66 MW of solar capacity to Kirloskar Solar Technologies and Oriana Power.
