Alfanar group commits USD 100 million additional funding to Senvion
alfanar group has announced an additional direct capital funding of USD 100 million, approximately Rs 950 crore, in Senvion to support the wind turbine manufacturer’s next phase of technology-led and manufacturing-driven growth.
The first tranche of USD 34 million, approximately Rs 320 crore, was received in August 2026. The remaining direct capital funding is expected to be completed within a couple of weeks.
The funding will support Senvion’s long-term product roadmap, provide growth capital for its expanding business in India and international markets, and accelerate development of its project pipeline through the ‘Senvion Certified Sites’ offering.
The investment also reinforces alfanar group’s long-term commitment to the “Make in India” initiative and its confidence in India developing as a global hub for renewable energy manufacturing, innovation and technology development.
