Viviana commissions 400 kV line for 323 MW Gujarat wind project
Viviana Power Tech Limited has commissioned a 400 kV double-circuit (D/C) loop-in loop-out (LILO) transmission line for a 323.4 MW wind park in Kachchh, Gujarat. The transmission line was energised on July 10, 2026, enabling evacuation of power from the renewable energy project to the high-voltage grid.
The project was completed under a compressed execution schedule and involved multiple extra-high-voltage crossings and live-line stringing operations without requiring a grid shutdown. The new transmission infrastructure is expected to strengthen renewable energy evacuation capacity in the region.
Execution details
A key requirement of the project was maintaining continuity of the existing network during construction. To achieve this, Viviana Power Tech executed three major crossings: a 765 kV under-crossing, a ±500 kV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) under-crossing, and a 400 kV overhead crossing.
The company deployed a 100-metric-tonne crane to erect two extension towers weighing 97 metric tonnes each for the crossing works. It also completed a 200-metre live-line (hot-line) stringing section between towers AP-07 and AP-08 while adjacent circuits remained energised, avoiding disruption to the broader transmission network.

Order book
Viviana Power Tech’s order pipeline continues to expand. As of July 21, 2026, the company reported a confirmed order book of approximately Rs 1,340 crore, inclusive of GST.
In addition, bids valued at around Rs 936 crore are currently under evaluation by clients, while identified tenders for proposed participation exceed Rs 2,500 crore.
For the consolidated financial year 2026, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 531 crore, EBITDA of Rs 76 crore, and net profit of Rs 53 crore.
