Atlanta Electricals reports 48% revenue growth in Q1 FY27
Atlanta Electricals Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 466.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, registering a 48.0% increase over the corresponding period last year. The growth was supported by execution of domestic orders and continued demand from the transmission, distribution and renewable energy sectors.
The company reported EBITDA of Rs 77.10 crore during the quarter, up 58.1% year-on-year. EBITDA margin improved by 105 basis points to 16.5%. Profit after tax (PAT) increased 50.4% to Rs 46.84 crore, reflecting higher operating leverage and an improved product mix, according to the company’s investor presentation and earnings release.
Order book
Atlanta Electricals ended the quarter with an order book of Rs 3,116.63 crore as of June 30, 2026, representing a 25.0% increase compared to the previous quarter. Order inflows during Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 972.42 crore.
More than 55% of the order book is comprised of 220 kV transformers, highlighting the company’s strong presence in the transmission equipment segment. Orders for 400 kV transformers and reactors account for nearly Rs 275 crore, indicating growing participation in extra-high-voltage (EHV) projects.
Key order
During the quarter, the company secured an order worth Rs 291.68 crore from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. (RRVPNL) for the supply of power transformers.
The order includes four units of 160 MVA (220/132 kV) transformers, 63 units of 50 MVA (132/33 kV) transformers and 12 units of 31.5 MVA (132/33 kV) transformers.
Capacity expansion
Atlanta Electricals continues to strengthen its presence in higher-voltage transformer segments through investments in manufacturing capabilities and backward integration.
The company is developing 400 kV transformer manufacturing capabilities at its Vadod facility, while its subsidiary Atlanta Trafo is progressing with 765 kV transformer development. These initiatives are aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in the EHV and ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transformer markets.
In parallel, Atlanta is advancing its inverter duty transformer facility and undertaking backward integration projects for key components such as tanks and radiators.
Market outlook
According to the company, demand remains supported by investments in transmission infrastructure, renewable energy integration and grid expansion.
“Demand continues to be structural, driven by investments in transmission network expansion, renewable energy integration, battery energy storage systems, industrial electrification and data centre development,” said Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director.
