ACME Solar commissions 240 MWh BESS project in Rajasthan
ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL), through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, has commissioned a 240.720 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Sanwara and Mehar Nagar villages in Pokhran tehsil, Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan.Â
The project was commissioned on June 30, 2026, and its commercial operation date (COD) is scheduled for July 2, 2026.
Following the latest commissioning, ACME Suryodaya’s commissioned BESS capacity has reached 285 MW / 842.624 MWh.
Earlier this month, ASHL, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, commissioned an additional 33.331 MW / 120.384 MWh BESS capacity at Badi Sid in Bap tehsil across the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan.
The company had also announced the commissioning of an additional 33.333 MW / 160.512 MWh BESS capacity at its Rajasthan facility in Bap tehsil across the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts.
