Adani Green commissions 156 MW RE and 185 MWh BESS at Khavda

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commercially operationalised 156 MW of renewable energy capacity and 185 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity at Khavda, Gujarat. The projects were declared commercially operational at 10:15 p.m. on June 30, 2026, after obtaining the required clearances.

The 156 MW renewable energy capacity, comprising wind projects, has been operationalised through AGEL’s stepdown subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited.

The 185 MWh BESS capacity has been operationalised through another stepdown subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Forty Three Limited.

Following the latest commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 20,141.80 MW. Its total operational BESS capacity has reached 3,551 MWh.
