HPL Electric & Power secures Rs 242 crore smart meter orders
HPL Electric & Power Limited has received work orders and notifications of award aggregating to Rs 242.24 crores (inclusive of tax) for the supply of smart meters.
The orders have been placed by a set of existing customers, including GMR Triveni Smart Meters Limited, GMR Kashi Smart Meters Limited, GMR Agra Smart Meters Limited, Paschimanchal Infrastructure Private Limited, and Madhyanchal One Infrastructure Private Limited.
According to the company’s filing, the supplies are part of its normal course of business and will be executed in line with the terms and conditions specified in the respective purchase orders and notifications of award.
The order adds to HPL Electric & Power Limited’s position in the smart metering segment, as utilities and infrastructure companies continue to expand deployment of advanced metering systems across regions.
