Atlanta Electricals wins Rs 190 crore transformer order from RVPN
Atlanta Electricals Limited has secured an order worth approximately Rs 190 crores from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPN), the state’s power transmission utility, for the supply of power transformers and associated fire protection systems.
The contract covers 53 units of 50 MVA, 132/33 KV power transformers, along with 53 Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Systems (NIFPES). The scope includes manufacturing and supply in line with RVPN’s technical specifications and commercial conditions.
According to the company, the rate contract is valid for two years, with a provision for extension as per the bid document. Execution will follow RVPN’s prescribed standards and timelines.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Atlanta Electricals Limited, said the order reflects continued engagement with RVPN and supports higher capacity utilisation across the company’s manufacturing base. He added that it aligns with the company’s presence in the transmission segment and its work with state utilities.
Atlanta Electricals manufactures power transformers with capacities ranging from 5 MVA/11 kV to 500 MVA/765 kV. The company operates five manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and Karnataka. As of December 31, 2025, it has supplied more than 4,710 transformers with a cumulative capacity of 1,07,229 MVA across India.
